BITTER GUARD COCONUT FRY

Ingredients

Bitter Gourd                  -        1 Cup

Grated Coconut                -        ¾ Cup

Onion                            -        1 Cup

Ginger                           -        1 Tsp

Green Chilli                       -        2

Coconut oil                 -        2Tsp

Mustard Seeds               -        ½Tsp 

Whole red chilly            -        3

Curry Leaves                 -        1 Spring

shallots                           -        2 Tsp

Water                            -        ¼Cup

Salt 

Method

 

Take a earthen pan.

Take onion, ginger and green chilly in an earthen pan.

To this add bitter guard,

then add grated coconut, salt

and add ¼ cup of water. 

Mix well,

 

cover it and cook for 4-5 minutes.

 

Mix well and allow water to evaporate.

 

Heat coconut oil in a pan,

splutter mustard seeds,

then add shallots,

add whole red chilly

and curry leaves. Fry till shallots are light brown color.

Transfer cooked vegetable to it.

add salute  few minutes

 Now ready to your bitter guard coconut fry.serve with rice.
