Jack Fruit                     -        2 cup

Rice rava                        -        1 cup

Jaggery  powder             -        1/2 cup

Ghee                              -        1tsp

Cardamom powder         -        a pinch


Remove the seeds from the jackfruit and keep it ready.

Puree the jackfruit in a mixer.

Looks like this paste.

Dry roast the rice rava.

Mix rava, puree,jaggery, cardamom powder and salt in a bowl. And mix it well. Keep it aside for 15 to minutes.


After 20 to 25 minutes mix it again.

Grease the plate with ghee. Pour the cake batter and spread it on the plate.

Steam cook the cake for 10 to 12 minutes. Turn off the heat. Leave it for few minutes before you take it out.

Now the Jackfruit  cake is ready to eat. Cut it into desired size and shape.
