Cleaned Mussels                 -        500 Gms.

Onion                                -        2 Cup

shallots                                -        1 Cup

Tomato                                -        1

Green Chilli                           -        4

Ginger Paste                      -        1 Tsp

Garlic  Paste                       -        1 Tsp

Coriander Powder              -        1Tsp

Turmeric  powder              -        3/4 Tsp

Pepper powder                   -        1/2Tsp

Red chilly powder              -        1 Tsp

Garam masala   powder       -        1/2Tsp

Curry Leaves                       -        1 Spring

Coconut oil                       -        4 Tsp



Open the Mussels by sliding a knife through the slit or put mussels in boiling water. Wash the raw mussels properly under running water. Remove the shell.

Take mussels in a pan,

to this add salt

and turmeric powder.

Pour enough amount of water,

close the lid and cook well.

Heat 3 Tsp.  Of  coconut oil in a pan.

Add curry leaves, green chili, onion,

 add shallots

Saute it well,

Add ginger, garlic, and some salt. Saute it well until the onion becomes transparent.

Then add tomato

and mash it.

To this add turmeric powder, pepper powder, chilly powder, garam masala powder and coriander powder.

Stir well.

Then transfer cooked mussels to this masala,

add ½ cup of water,

mix well and let it boil in a medium flame. Stir in between.Allow it to dry. Then switch off the flame.

Sprinkle some curry leaves.

Drizzle 1 tsp. Of coconut oil.

Saute well.

 Now ready to your  mussels masala fry.
